Marvels was a revolutionary comic when it first came out. The stories now still have major relevance to the Marvel Universe. The art is amazing, Ross' paintings creating the world of Marvels in beautiful colours and imagery. The script compliments the artwork to create a free-flowing story and anyone wanting to get into Marvel comics should really start with this comic, and it's later follow-up, Marvels: Eye of the Camera.
